📚🌈 Learn more about the LGBTQI+ (in)equalities Summer Schools🌈🌍
🔍 Embark on an intellectual journey as we delve into the intricate realm of LGBTQI+ (in)equalities through our Summer Schools. Proudly supported by the European Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST), our mission remains resolute: to cultivate a thriving community of scholars and researchers who are dedicated to understanding LGBTI+ social and economic (in)equalities.
🔗 Together, we’re forging pathways to enriched data insights, robust support for civil society organizations, and influential policy recommendations for governmental and intergovernmental bodies. The Summer School is designed for PhD students and Early Career Researchers (normally within eight years of the award of the PhD) in the field. This does not mean that individuals need to have LGBTQI+ topics as the primary focus of their PhD or research, but that they have interests in researching in this field and contributing to the growing body of knowledge and understanding. All disciplinary backgrounds will be considered
🔬 The Summer School offers a combination of lectures on methodological issues related to the analysis of LGBTQI+ inequalities from a life cycle perspective, a series of group work activities and a student presentation at the final day of the Summer School. Further activities include a workshop covering stakeholder engagement run by scholars and activists, and dedicated time for individual mentoring and support throughout the Summer School.
🌐 But it’s not just about theoretical musings. We’re injecting vibrancy with insightful lectures, engaging group activities, and spotlighting your own student presentation. What’s more, we’re privileged to host a workshop led by distinguished scholars and activists, delving into the realm of stakeholder engagement. 🤝💼
